Hatha, Prenatal & Postnatal

The ancient practice of yoga focuses on "Prana"- The flow of energy through our body.  Breath, flow and stretching during prenatal and postnatal yoga classes allow you to build up a sweat while you strengthen your body. Finding relaxation through meditation and breathing help you connect to your body, baby and the very foundation of your divine strength.

As a certified Hatha, Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Teacher, I offer Private Yoga classes in your home as part of your beautiful Journey into motherhood.

Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga is the best way to slow down your mind, connect to breath, connect with your pregnancy, and connect with your beautiful body and baby.

Prenatal yoga creates awareness of your own mind, body, breathe and the spirit of your baby. Prenatal yoga is an ideal preparation for the birth of your baby.

Health Benefits of Yoga in pregnancy

-strengthening pelvic muscles

-improving circulation

-helps in digestion

-relieves fatigue and tension

-revitalizing energy.

Yoga can also ease many of the common discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica.

Postnatal yoga is one of the best ways to help nurture your role into motherhood and provide a safe environment for you to heal and repair your body. The class offers time to talk about your experience of your birth,  you as a new mum, and safely allowing you to reconnect with your body after the passage of the new little divine spirit

We use breath, balance,  movement and relaxation to allow your body to recover from pregnancy and birth. This helps to heal the body and mind, and repair the tissue and internal body back to normal.

Each session is designed for mums with their babies and incorporates there divine spirit into the practice using yoga asana( postures) or holding the babies as part of the yoga.
